COPENHAGEN is a three-person play that provides a fictional account of the meeting between physicists Werner Heisenberg and Niels Bohr at Bohr’s home in Copenhagen in 1941 during the throes of World War II. Heisenberg and Bohr, accompanied by Bohr’s wife Margrethe, revisit their personal and professional entanglements throughout decades of war, turmoil, and scientific advancement. The trio reenacts and simultaneously analyzes their infamous gathering, weaving in and out of various points in their shared past. For Heisenberg and Bohr, the question will always remain: what will come of the decisions we made? October 10th - 27th, 2024; Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm All tickets are $30, or $25 for seniors (65+) or $20 (students, teachers, active military). Battleground is choreographer Carl Flink’s newest work, influenced by the physicality of Bodystorming, a technique he developed with biomedical engineer David Odde, and Flink’s intellectual curiosity surrounding war, violence, and its impact on the human body. A provocative, physical, and innovative piece grounded in science, ballistic movement, and the ethical and physical consequences of violence and perpetual war, it is intended to encourage meaningful conversations about violence in its many forms as an accepted and often celebrated component of our society. Battleground will be performed outdoors in a 30×25 feet dirt pit.

Richard III tells the story of Richard, Duke of Gloucester, who manipulates and murders his way to the throne of England. It’s a tragic story filled with power struggles, deceit, and betrayal. Richard is known for his villainous nature and his famous line “Now is the winter of our discontent.” Richard III will run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 27 - October 27.  All show start at 7:30pm and are Free.  We are an outdoor venue. This is the final play in our Muse of Fire: Shakespeare's Wars of the Roses season.
