Even as the City of Boston “unveils big new arts initiatives…,” the Boston Globe – yes, even the Boston Globe – takes a fire axe to its coverage of the arts, chopping out freelancers. Before you know it, that once-great paper will resemble the N&O, where only presenters who offer repeat performances have a snowball’s chance of a review.
