Kerr Scott Building at NC State Fairgrounds Hillsborough Street at Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC, United States

Join hundreds of other ringers to work with clinician Jason Krug at the 34th Capital Area Handbell Festival. Massed pieces (plus an optional piece) will be rehearsed in preparation of a concert at the end of the day. In addition to the massed ringing, choirs may choose to perform a solo. Registration includes lunch and a lunchtime concert by The Raleigh Ringers. Saturday’s activities begin with a downbeat at 9:00 am and conclude with a free massed choir concert at 4:00 pm.

There’s no better way to ring in the holidays than by joining The Raleigh Ringers for their annual holiday concerts at the Meymandi Concert Hall at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts (formerly Duke Energy Center) in downtown Raleigh. This Raleigh holiday tradition will feature the group’s unique interpretations of sacred, secular, and popular music, including a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll.

CAPITAL AREA SPRING RING

Highland United Methodist Church 1901 Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC, United States

This festival features Level 1 and 2 music for intergenerational, adult, and youth choirs or individual ringers. The festival includes massed ringing sessions to polish the prepared music and two breakout classes led by members of The Raleigh Ringers. The day concludes with a short concert presented by the participants at 4:00 pm that is open to the public.
