New Executive Director Joins Raleigh Boychoir

May 2015 – The Raleigh Boychoir (RBC) family welcomes Evelyn McCauley as our new Executive Director beginning in the 2015-16 season. McCauley is a multitalented, creative professional with a wide range of experience, including strategic marketing, graphic design, event planning and nonprofit administration.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in communication design from Kutztown University, McCauley earned a webmaster certificate in design media from NC State University. She later attended UNC-Greensboro where she received a master’s degree in arts and liberal studies, and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management.

A vocal musician, McCauley has performed as a featured soloist, recitalist, performing artist and chorister with several Triangle organizations. These include Voices of the New Renaissance, the North Carolina Master Chorale and Chamber Choir, the Oakwood Waits, and several Broadway reviews. She has opera credits with multiple local performing arts organizations and recording credits that include two original works. McCauley volunteers for organizations like Burning Coal Theatre Company and the NC Symphony. She’s also active in arts advocacy groups.

“Ms. McCauley brings a nice blend of strategic knowledge backed by performing arts business management experience,” said RBC Artistic Director Jeremy Tucker. “To top it off, she has lots of connections in the local performing arts community, and she understands what’s needed to take our organization to the next level.”
