The North Carolina Symphony Quartet will perform a special event concert on Thursday, June 18 at 9 p.m.

Performing are Matthew Decker, percussion; Nathaniel Yaffe, cello; Samuel Gold, viola; and Jacqueline Saed Wolborsky, violin. The eclectic evening showcases the artistry of the NC Symphony Quartet. The program includes string trio music of Dohnanyi and Bach, including a bold arrangement of Bach’s keyboard masterpiece, Goldberg Variations. Then, Matthew Decker will lean into “Stop Speaking,” a work for snare drum and electronics by modern percussion master Andy Akiho.
