Join the Triangle Youth Brass Bands as they present their culminating concert of the 2011-2012 season!  The bands will present “Movie Mayhem!” a concert presentation of film music on Friday, May 25 at 8pm at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh.

Music Director, Tony Granados says, “This is a really fun way for us to showcase these two phenomenally talented groups that have worked so hard all year long. You’ll hear some classic John Williams tunes and even Bohemian Rhapsody!  This is a great one to bring the whole family to!”

Active in the Triangle area since 1997, the Triangle Youth Brass Band is an umbrella term used to describe two bands:  Triangle Youth Brass Band and Triangle Youth Brass Ensemble.  Entrance into both bands is competitive and by audition only, allowing only the finest area high school brass and percussion players to participate.  The mission of the band is to educate local music students in the traditional British Brass Band playing style and to supplement the traditional band experience in schools.

For tickets and more information, please visit the Triangle Brass Band website at www.trianglebrass.org.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for students, and free for children two and under. They can be purchased at the door of the concert or through any Ticketmaster outlet.
