“The House that Gordy Built” uses the music of Motown to tell the story of twelve friends, living in the tenements of Detroit in the late 60’s – early 70s. It shows the power of community as they navigate , family, the Vietnam War, and relationships, all set to the background of a world plagued by social issues.
