This summer Ciompi Quartet Presents adds a performance and presents a four-part chamber music series in Duke Gardens. The first two concerts, presented by Jonathan Bagg, are a double-bill celebrating the release of the Elation CD. The program includes works by two Duke faculty composers and one graduate composition student. Eric Pritchard completes his threepart cycle of the music of J. S. Bach with The Art of Fugue, and Fred Raimi will present  a distinctive pairing of master composers Beethoven and Fauré. 2014 marks the third summer of Ciompi Quartet Presents when the members of the Quartet join with distinguished guests to share some of the finest chamber music the Triangle has to offer.
