This preview has been provided by the Triangle Brass Band.

The Triangle Brass Bands are pleased to announce that internationally-renowned trumpet artist Jens Lindemann will be the featured trumpet/cornet soloist for their March 18th concert, replacing Philip Smith, who was forced to withdraw due to unavoidable conflicts with his New York Philharmonic schedule.

Lindemann is former Principal Trumpet with The Canadian Brass and one of the leading trumpet soloists on the concert stage.   He will join the Triangle Brass Band for the world premiere performance of a new work by British composer Martin Ellerby, commissioned by the band, and will also perform the solo “Dreaming of the Masters” by Canadian composer Allan Gililand, written for him and which he will perform later this spring at Carnegie Hall.  The Triangle Youth Brass Band and Triangle Youth Brass Ensemble will also perform.

For tickets and more information, please visit the Triangle Brass Band website at  Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for students, and free for children two and under. They can be purchased at the door of the concert or through Crown Tickets at
