Join Wideman Davis Dance for a dance technique workshop, open to all intermediate/advanced level dancers ages 13+
The Strange Fruit Foundation will be using its residency at the Hyers to showcase the hidden gems of musical talent. Over the course of five weeks, there will be a series of competitions, with the winner(s) being featured on a live album to be recorded on the final night. The Hyers has been transformed into a music competition stage, and the community has multiple opportunities to experience a part of this production.
The NuFinds instrumental sound is provided by hip-hop band The NuBeing Collective, which is made up of drums, keyboard, vocals, DJ, emcee, trumpet, bass, and guitar. The winner(s) of the competition will have the opportunity to perform their original music with a full band.

Explore the GCC galleries African American Atelier, Center for Visual Artists, GreenHill, and Guilford Native American Association Pow Wow, and meet artists-in-residence. From music to painting, from photography to sculpture, you'll find a wealth of artistic expressions to enjoy and connect with at the Greensboro Cultural Center. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the artists and learn more about their stories and inspirations!
