NuFinds: Artist Residency
Greensboro Cultural Arts Center 200 North Davie Street, Greensboro, NC, United StatesThe Strange Fruit Foundation will be using its residency at the Hyers to showcase the hidden gems of musical talent. Over the course of five weeks, there will be a series of competitions, with the winner(s) being featured on a live album to be recorded on the final night. The Hyers has been transformed into a music competition stage, and the community has multiple opportunities to experience a part of this production.
The NuFinds instrumental sound is provided by hip-hop band The NuBeing Collective, which is made up of drums, keyboard, vocals, DJ, emcee, trumpet, bass, and guitar. The winner(s) of the competition will have the opportunity to perform their original music with a full band.
