UNCSA presents “Metropolis” with “The Silent Light”

The UNCSA School of Filmmaking will screen Fritz Lang's groundbreaking "Metropolis,” a German expressionist film that revolutionized science fiction cinema with its visionary depiction of a dystopian future. The screening, hosted by CalArts faculty member Gary Mairs, features a live metal score by The Silent Light, which has also written and performed scores for classic German silent films including "Nosferatu" and "Faust".
