Brevard Philharmonic presents “España!”

Our season begins with flair! Three different composers capture the essence of Spain: Emmanuel Chabrier’s rhapsodic España opens the program, Nicolai Rimsky-Korasakov’s Capriccio espagñol is an exciting showcase for the orchestra, and Édouard Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole features the brilliant SooBean Lee, violin. This Russian spectacular features these two titanic composers at their most creative and expressive. Peter Tchaikovsky’s powerful and dramatic Marche Slav is followed by his popular and evocative Capriccio italien. Sergei Rachmaninoff’s famous Piano Concerto No. 2 concludes the program, featuring Zhu Huang, piano. $13-$43
