Visit a galaxy far, far away, as Nate Beversluis and the Greensboro Symphony take a musical journey through space and time with the Tanger Outlets POPS season finale, The Symphony Strikes Back! This concert will feature music from a myriad of sci-fi films, including John William’s visionary scores for the Star Wars film saga, including Episode VII, The Force Awakens!

One of the most successful franchises of all time, Star Wars has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions the world over – and at the heart of the epic saga is the inspirational music of John Williams. A prolific film composer, Williams has composed for countless blockbuster hits, including Indiana Jones, Superman, ET, Jaws, and most notably, Star Wars. His memorable motifs, flashy style and sense of epic grandeur have helped transform Star Wars from a transcendent tale into a theatric sensation that continues to thrive 40 years after its debut!

This concert will also feature a myriad of other sci-fi classics, including music from The Twilight Zone, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Superman, and Star Trek, as well as a special tribute to the late Carrie Fisher, members of the Fighting 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion appearing in costume, and much more! Come dressed as your favorite sci-fi character and join in on the spectacle!
