Singing in Persian connects chorus to Iranian community - one notable piece is an area premiere of From Behind the Caravan: Songs of Hâfez, a stunning new work by Abbie Betinis, set to Persian poetry by the 14th-century poet Hâfez. Dr. Amir Rezvani, president of the Persian Art Center in North Carolina, will discuss Hâfez from 3:00-3:30 pm in the Chapel.
