As the opening event for the 2023 North Carolina HIP Music Festival, Mallarme presents the music of Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber. Mallarme presented this collection of sonatas in February 2016 to great acclaim, and is “revisiting” the music of Biber including one sonata from the Mystery sonatas plus works from Harmonia artificioso-ariosa (1696), Sonata tam aris quam aulis servientes (1676) and Mensa sonora (1680)
