Program

The NC Chamber Orchestra (NCCO) is thrilled to welcome flautist Laura Dangerfield Stevens to perform the Fauré Morceau de Concours. The performance will also include Quantz Flute Concerto in G, Mozart's Adagio & Fugue, Pachelbel's Canon & Gigue, Bartok's Rumanian Folk Dances and the Serenade for Strings by Ferrari/Wolf. A highlight will be Colloquy on King's Weston by Triad composer Margaret Petty.

Dr. Laura Stevens is the Lecturer of Flute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a member of the Carolina Wind Quintet, UNC’s longest continuously active faculty ensemble in the department’s history. She has served as the principal flutist of the Western Piedmont Symphony since 2002 and has been a member of the Salisbury Symphony since 2000.
