The award-winning Merz Trio made a sweep of recent chamber awards, taking top prizes at the 2021 Naumburg, 2019 Concert Artists Guild, 2019 Fischoff, and 2018 Chesapeake Competitions. CMW/AMF artistic director, Oskar Espina-Ruiz, clarinet, joins forces with Merz Trio to present Messiaen’s iconic Quartet for the end of time, considered to be one the most important of all twentieth-century chamber music compositions.
