In telling the story of her enslavement in the North, as well as her dramatic escape and subsequent fight to tear down slavery across the country, Sojourner Truth provides a compelling and personal lens into pre-Civil War America.

FREDERICK DOUGLASS: NO TURNING BACK

Set in 1872 in an anti-slavery church in Ohio, this tour-de-force performance reveals one of our greatest American heroes who, with wisdom and humor became an electrifying orator, Christian leader, abolitionist, and newspaper editor.
