Program

Our annual double-feature of up and coming artists will include winners of the Meredith College Concerto/Aria Competition on Saturday evening, and winners of the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra Rising Stars Competition on Sunday afternoon. Both will include orchestral works led by student conductors selected as a part of the Rising Stars Competition! This weekend of performances will also feature a work by the 2020 winner of the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award, 10th grader Athena Zhang.

Notes

Tickets $27 adults, $22 seniors (65+) or students (with high school or college ID), $10 child (under 16). Meredith College students and faculty admitted free with ID. Flex passes: 6 tickets for use at any performance for $100.

RSO’s Rising Stars Competition entry will open in early 2023! Open to students aged 15-25 on any instrument or voice part, registration fees for Rising Stars are $40 and can be paid online or by mailed payment (see address in footer).
