North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA): Mindful Museum Workshop: Processing Ecological Grief through Art

( Tue., May. 24, 2022 )

North Carolina Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607-6407

The imperiled state of the environment has been found to cause negative effects on people’s mental health. “Eco-grief” can be overwhelming and evoke an array of emotions, such as apathy and anger. In conjunction with the spring exhibition Fault Lines: Art and the Environment, this workshop gives participants an opportunity to unpack some of their feelings around, and find healthy ways to cope with, these issues through art. Facilitated by a trained professional; all materials provided. Ages 18 and up.
