Program

“Rise Up: Voices United in Song” is a collaborative virtual concert featuring three North Carolina women's choruses: The Charlotteans of UNC Charlotte, Meredith College Choirs, and Women's Voices Chorus of Chapel Hill. Join conductors Ginger Wyrick, Shannon Gravelle, and Laura Sam and their singers in this unique webinar performance. The evening will include video performances from each ensemble and discussion on how we have cultivated singing in a time of physical separation. The program will conclude with a joint performance of “Rise and Stand” from the Justice Choir Songbook, a recent collection meant for public use at rallies, marches, and educational programs. Admission is free of charge.
