North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA): CANCELED: College Social Spotlight

( Fri., Apr. 3, 2020 )

North Carolina Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607-6407

Program

In accordance with Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order 117, and to help limit the spread of COVID-19 in North Carolina, the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources will suspend public operations at all locations, including the North Carolina Museum of Art, beginning March 17 until further notice. In an abundance of caution, the suspension of public operations will allow the Department the opportunity to assess its facilities to consider possible modifications that could ensure appropriate social distancing.

All Museum events, programs, and tours have been canceled or postponed during this time. The Museum Park remains open. Park visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing.

College students are invited for an evening of live music, socializing, and art making related to Front Burner: Contemporary Highlights in North Carolina Painting. Meet new friends from local colleges and universities and learn about opportunities at the NCMA. Hosted by the NCMA College Advisory Panel. Event takes place at Sip Cafe in the West Building.

Cost

Free, ticket required.
