Program

Hungarian-born pianist Peter Frankl, soloist, with students of the Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra (MYCO) alongside student mentors from the UNC Chapel Hill Department of Music, led by violinist and director Nicholas DiEugenio. Pianist Mimi Solomon will join Peter Frankl in Brahms Waltzes, and violinist Nicholas DiEugenio joins Peter Frankl in Schumann's Violin Sonata No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 105.

Notes

MYCO Chamber Players, led by Artistic Directors Nicholas DiEugenio and Mimi Solomon, is a pre-professional music program focused on chamber music and chamber orchestra performance for middle and high school students in the Triangle. The MYCO experience immerses students in the core values of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. MYCO alums retain a love of music, and the life skills it teaches, which accompanies them along the paths their lives follow.
