The Carolina Summer Music Festival resurrects an experience of hearing new music in early 20th-century Vienna. These unique chamber settings by Arnold Schoenberg include Debussy’s “Prelude to an Afternoon of a Faun,” Mahler’s “Songs of a Wayfarer,” and Johann Strauss, Jr.’s “Emperor Waltz” and “Roses from the South.”
