Program

Maestro Joseph Young, director of ensembles and conducting at the Peabody Conservatory, leads the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra in an exciting array of masterworks, including Samuel Barber’s “Second Essay for Orchestra” and the exuberant Symphony No. 7 in A major by Ludwig van Beethoven. Graduate bassoonist Juan Antonio Rodriguez Diaz, winner of the 2018 Concerto Competition, will also perform Mozart’s “Concerto for Bassoon in B-flat major.”
