Five brilliant conductors vie for the role of Music Director in the Symphony’s thrilling 2018–2019 season—and you can help choose the winner! First to take the podium is Vladimir Kulenovic. hailed as the “conductor with an uncommon passion” by the distinguished Chicago Tribune critic John von Rhein. Kulenovic conducts Brahms’ dramatic Symphony No. 3 as well as Shostakovich’s riveting Cello Concerto No.1, showcasing the artistry of award-wining guest cellist Juilan Schwarz.
