Stephen Aber presents a recital on the 52-rank Buzard pipe organ in Hayes Barton United Methodist’s acoustically-enhanced sanctuary. Aber, a graduate of Baylor and Belmont, studied organ and choral conducting while accompanying at his colleges and local churches. He made his way back home to North Carolina last year after serving at First Baptist Nashville and Central in Knoxville, TN

The performance includes, among others:

  • Movie Magic! ~ John Williams (1932)   arr. Aber
  • Nimrod from Enigma Variations ~ Edward Elgar (1857-1934)
