As Carolina Performing Arts’ artist-in-residence for the 2015-16 season, violinist Gil Shaham will appear in three performances and work throughout the year with UNC students and faculty. Here he performs Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major — considered one of the most technically demanding works for the violin — with UNC's Symphony Orchestra led by music director/conductor Tonu Kalam:

VERDI     Overture to La forza del destino

HINDEMITH     Suite from Nobilissima visione

TCHAIKOVSKY     Vioiln Concerto
