The program will feature works by Lou Harrison, Masayoshi Sugiura, Ryo Noda, John Steinmetz, Lei Liang, Ken Frazelle, and a world premiere by Forecast Music Artistic Director Eric Schwartz. There will be a mix of works featuring the juxtaposition of Eastern and Western musical influence, as well as a discussion of traditional Eastern musical styles and techniques conducted by Wake Forest University Ethnomusicologist Elizabeth Clendinning.
This performance will take place in The Overlook Gallery at SECCA. It was originally scheduled at the Community Arts Cafe, but was relocated due to the cafe's closing.
