The UNC Symphony Orchestra, Tonu Kalam, conductor, will present its annual concert featuring this year's winners of the UNC Concerto Competition. Soprano Emily Siar, flutist Pauline Jung, and cellist Alexander Ullman, all graduating seniors, will be accompanied by the orchestra in music by Berlioz, Delibes, Ibert, and Dvorak. The orchestra will also play the Prelude to Hansel und Gretel by Humperdinck, conducted by post-master's student Dianna Fiore, and the Tragic Overture by Brahms, led by the music director.


Proceeds go to supporting student scholarships in the Department of Music.
