I and You by Lauren Gunderson - Regional Premiere - “I and this mystery here we stand” – Walt Whitman

On the night before a class assignment is due, mismatched high-schoolers Caroline and Anthony plumb the mysteries of a Whitman poem … unaware that a deeper mystery has brought them together.

Manbites Dog Theater presents the regional premiere of Lauren Gunderson’s hilarious and heartbreaking new play, winner of the 2014 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award and a finalist for The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.

I and You is directed by Jeff Storer, and features Durham School of the Arts students Natalie Izlar and Gerald Jones III as Caroline and Anthony.
