This varied program of chamber music will include the of music by Giuseppe Verdi, Christopher Palestrant, Fernando Obradors, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Carey Blyton. The concert will begin with Messiaen’s organ work Apparition de l’église éternelle. A program highlight is the premiere of Palestrant's recent work Stages, written for Les Amies harmoniques. The second half of the program features Spanish and Spanish-influenced music.
