Known for her performances of African American art song and spirituals, Louise Toppin (ECU voice faculty from 1990-2010) returns to Greenville to present a recital with John O’Brien on fortepiano of 17th and 18th century repertoire from composers Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Vincenzo Righini, Heinrich Himmel, Conradin Kreutzer, Fanny Hensel, and Thomas Linley.
