One of the first orchestras dedicated to performing on period instruments, The English Concert has appeared at the Théâtre des Champs Élysées in Paris, at Carnegie Hall in New York and at the BBC Proms in London’s Barbican Hall. Some of the world’s finest soloists and a full choir join The English Concert in Memorial Hall to perform Handel’s penultimate oratorio, Theodora. Theodora is the deeply moving story of a virtuous woman and of sexual persecution, and features some of Handel’s most beautiful music.
