From the acting CEO: "Grant Llewellyn is unable to travel to North Carolina next week to conduct our Classical 11/John Adams Composer Portrait concerts on March 25 and 26. His wife Charlotte had an unanticipated surgery recently, and Grant is remaining in Wales while she recuperates. We’ve engaged English conductor Benjamin Wallfisch to lead the program. Maestro Wallfisch comes highly recommended from numerous sources (including John Adams himself, as well as our friend Branford Marsalis) and we believe he’ll do an outstanding job."
