Two supernovas in modern English choral music, Ralph Vaughan Williams and John Tavener, speak directly to life’s cycle of ecstasy and sorrow. Magnificat, Village Wedding, Mass, and Funeral Ikos portray humankind’s ageless quest for meaning. The chorus is directed by Dr. Sue T. Klausmeyer.
