Their first show together was St Patrick’s day in 1982, at the Station in Carrboro. They were long time members of the North Carolina Touring Artists program, performed at the Smithsonian Institution and on the Diane Rehm show in DC and made numerous albums, one paid for with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Each has been interviewed on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and Weekend Edition. They worked with Jack Herrick of the Red Clay Ramblers as the trio “Duck, Duck, Goose.”
