Durham Symphony Orchestra: POPS IN THE PARK

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for this family-friendly event featuring selections from Georges Bizet’s Carmen, Viennese waltzes by Josef and Johann Strauss, and a special arrangement of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” presented in collaboration with Kidznotes. The program will also include a tribute to the legendary Duke Ellington and iconic pieces from John Williams’ Raiders of the Lost Ark and Bernstein’s West Side Story.

This concert is free and open to the public. So come early to get a seat and partake of delicious offerings from the food trucks: El Jefecito and Pelican’s SnoBalls.
