To the Editor:
Since the writer of your review of the HSO Gershwin concert found no problems with the music, it seems he found it necessary to belittle the efforts of the HSO president, manager and volunteer stage hands and even the young color guard. His comments were not only critical; they were cutting, cruel and clearly non-professional. The folks whom he ridiculed are actually excellent workers who are very good at their jobs and make a terrific contribution to the symphony. They are very much appreciated by the HSO musicians!
