H.H. Miller

A native of New Mexico and a graduate of Luther College, a liberal arts college in Decorah, Iowa, Heather E. Miller holds degrees in elementary education and music. As a student at Luther, she sang in 4 different choirs, performing across the Midwest. The daughter of a physicist at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a music teacher, she grew up surrounded by science, but was just a short drive away from an abundance of art, music, and theater in Santa Fe. She has performed in numerous musical and dramatic theater productions throughout her life.  Heather has held a variety of jobs including elementary music teacher and personal assistant, and is currently serving as a director of children’s and youth ministries in Lumberton, North Carolina.  Her theater experience includes writing and directing musicals for children.  In addition to keeping up with her own 2 children who attend college at the University of Northern Iowa, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, long walks, and the occasional lazy day curled up with coffee and a good book.
