Background

A local “not for profit” organization, the American Music Festival (AMF) has been providing great music to Carteret County and Eastern North Carolina for the last 30 years. A portion of the ticket proceeds and donations to AMF go to provide music outreach programs for county school children. This season, AMF showcases four incredible ensembles, and Artistic Director (of AMF and Chamber Music Wilmington) Oskar Espina-Ruiz will join the Merz Trio on November 11, 2022, presenting Messiaen’s iconic Quartet for the End of Time.

The AMF is supported by the Arts Council of Carteret County, the NC Arts Council, and the National Endowment of the Arts, the Beaufort Ole Town Rotary and the Cultural Voice of North Carolina.
