Eastern Chamber Players featuring EMF Faculty Artists will begin our first week of inspired music making this summer! Our first chamber concert will highlight brimming lovely tunes written by Mozart, Britten’s composition written for legendary oboist Leon Gooseens with EMFs Karen Blundell as the soloist, and the breathtaking journey of musical ideas by Brahms. The evening of invigorating chamber music will be on Tuesday, June 28th at 8PM in Dana Auditorium.
William Wolfram will kick off our Signature Performances by performing works by virtuoso composers of the Romantic period on Wednesday, June 29th at 8PM. At this present time, for all Eastern Music Festival related activities, masks are “highly recommended” indoors and in large groups but not “required.”
As varied as these season highlights appear, the EMF Experience each summer is so much more than the performance.
