1) The festival’s popular pre-show performance series Festivities will return for a third year. Local musicians, performing artists, storytellers and poets will be entertain audiences beginning 45 minutes prior to each main stage performance. 2) Free educational workshops will also be offered during the run of each show. These family-friendly events provide a hands-on experience for young people ages 8 and up. The workshops help young people understand the play and give them a first hand experience performing classical text. During The Tempest, workshops will take place at 5pm on Sundays June 3, 10, and 17 at The Green.
