On CVNC's 3/12/10 Review of The Hundred Dresses, at Raleigh Little Theatre

March 18, 2010 - Raleigh, NC:

I just wanted to thank you for reviewing The Hundred Dresses. I know that a lot of reviewers shy away from reviewing shows whose main characters are children and we appreciated you coming to our show and reviewing it. A few of us have been involved in this show for over a year.... It's morphed into not just a show at RLT but [youth theater and education director] Linda [O'Day Young] has made it an out reach program into the community. We have hundreds of kids coming to see the show from Title 1 schools whose admission was funded by generous donors to our Theatre Partners program. We also did programs in elementary schools where they read the book and a group came in and did staged readings of the script, as a matter of fact our Assistant Stage Manager Bunny Safron played Maddie in our staged readings.

So again Thank You. We all feel so strongly about the message this show delivers and are all very proud of it.
